Welcome to our new website
Choosing the right school is vital. On receiving an appropriate referral we undertake an initial assessment working with parents, the potential student and key stakeholders to identify whether the Lowen school is right for them. If we all feel the school is right and a place is commissioned a detail assessment will then inform a transition plan and development of an individual learning plans for the student to start their journey with us at the Lowen School.
If you are interested in your child attending The Lowen School, the first stage is to contact your local authority and indicate your preference for The Lowen School.
All students must have an Education, Health and Care plan (EHCP, formerly a Statement of Special Educational Needs) that refers to a diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder.
If you are working with a child for whom The Lowen School might be suitable, we recommend that you contact us for an initial conversation about the child’s needs and the services we offer.
