We will always treat any concern or complaint seriously. We will first listen and try and resolve this with you. Please see our complaints policy to understand how we will address concerns. If you do not feel listened to, then it is important you raise this with the Local Authority or Ofsted.
All students and staff travel to the school and at times adverse weather such as snow and ice may cause safety issues. The school guided by MET office advice and advice from the local authorities and transport providers will make best interest decisions relating to either delaying the start of the school day or possible school closures.
In extreme heat the school will look to adjust curriculum if temperatures impact on students and staff ability to engage effectively, in some cases where students have medical conditions which are expatiated through heat the school will discuss with families whether it is appropriate for them to attend school.
