Welcome to our new website
I am a retired primary teacher who taught locally in Gunnislake and Delaware. My experience of governance stretches back to 1986 when I joined my daughter's school governing body. I have experience of trust boards as well as governing bodies of LEA schools. Over the past few years, I have run my own business as a governor trainer, leading courses on induction, new chairs & clerks training, headteacher's performance management and strategic management across the South West. I have also worked as a consultant helping headteachers and governors improve governance in their schools in Cornwall, Devon and the Isles of Scilly. I have live in the local area for over 30 years and presently I am a councillor for Calstock Parish.
I have worked in SEN schools for over 25 years both as a teacher and a headteacher. I am passionate about creating environments where children feel safe, inspired and flourish.
